Outsourcing

Companies tend to outsource services which are not part of their core business, in particular IT services and the sales force. However, they should ensure that outsourcing does not affect its core business and that service levels will be maintained. A complex outsourcing transaction has to take into account various legal issues, for instance with regard to labour law and data protection. Therefore, it is strongly recommended to thoroughly draft an outsourcing agreement which has to specify inter alia the scope of the service and its service levels.
